Okay, so I was looking at the gadgets for *BLOGGER* and I found this one called "YouLyrics." I'm not for sure how it works, but I'm sure I'll figure it out.  I'm a tech geek.  Sooo... knock yourself wild.... I guess...

Here's to the Oldies!

Alright.  We all  love old, classic rock music.  You know, the music that you hear in old Romantic comedies from the Eighties... like Grease or Dirty Dancing or Footloose.  But, you go beyond that and you have classical geniouses!  The Beatles, Kiss, Elvis, Barbara Streisand, Michael Jackson?  Yeah, those guys.  You know you love them.  Even though you don't wanna admit it because you're too chicken.  No? Fine.  Suit yourself.  This revelation came to me while I was watching Dirty Dancing and Funny Girl.  Yes, BOTH romantic comedies and yes, BOTH older movies.  I've also been walking around my house singing songs from Grease.... So, that MIGHT have something to do with it, too.  Who knows.  I don't.  It's not bugging me!  So, let's all embrace our inner loving of the classic masters and cherish it. Be proud of your cultured- ness!  You know that song "My Girl" by The Temptations? You know,  "I guess you'd say, What can make me feel this way? My Girl."  That song.  One of my friends had never heard that song until the other day.  Tsk, tsk, tsk.  So, sad.  We still gotta love those oldies.  ;)

This Is Called Craziness... Part 2

So, I was listening to college radio stations the other day.  WHY?  Well, I'll tell you why.  I don't really listen to the Top 40 a whole lot.  I like the alternative music.  So, this song came on the station (I forget what the station is called) called "Fashion Zombies" by: The Aquabats.  It.  Is. AMAZING! BUT SO CRAZY! Listen to this!  The video is below... i think.  It might be above.  By the way:  I do not own this video.  I just thought it was amazing enough to share.

First Post

Alright... So. My first post on this.  Well, MAYBE, instead of talking completely about music in this post, I just tell you a bit about meself.  I will include Music, though.  Just in case you're wondering "What's the point?"

         Okie Doke... Sooo.... I have a burning, "red, hot, scissory (Thank you, Roald Dahl)" passion for music.  It helps me.. A lot.  I play the piano, and I play my Vocal Chords.  Occasionally.   My favorite musical people are Mumford and Sons, Duffy, The Aviation Orange, Young the Giant, Muse, The Fray, The Script, all those alternative singers/bands. 

        Ummm.... I really like "The Office."  Dwight and Kevin and Andy are probably my favorite characters.  OH! and Kelly.  Kelly's cool.

       I love Fried Cookie dough.  I had that at a festival one time and it was seriously slap yo mama good.  Oh.... I feel like a dweeb for saying that.  I feel like a dweeb for saying that I'm a dweeb.  Man, I probably need to stop saying "dweeb."  But It's really fun... I mean really.  Say it.  Right now.  Look at your sibling or your dog or your cat and just yell "DWEEB!"  Tell me, doesn't that sound funny?

         Okay, Moving On:  My role models are probably.... well..... I don't know.  I respect all of you.
